Certified Mortgage Planners is focused on helping our customers build a strong financial positon through careful management of equity, the proper use of capital, and a dedication to maximizing their rate of return. Your privacy is always important to us and we respect each customer’s Right to Privacy.  We have always been guided by the fundamental belief, along with our principals, that it is always important to recognize and respect our customers’ expectation that their personal and financial information will be kept confidential.


When your information is obtained, it is our utmost priority to secure your information protecting this with quality professional services; we strive to prevent your personal information from falling into the wrong hands. We collect, retain, and use information you provide only when and to the extent we believe the information would be useful (and permitted by law) to conduct business and provide products, services, and other opportunities to our customers.  We strive for and aim to limit access of information about our customers only to those individuals who have a legitimate business need to know.  We adhere to strict security procedures to protect your information that we collect.

Certified Mortgage Planners collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency

There are some cases in which we gather information to comply with laws and regulations governing our industry. Certified Mortgage Planners will attempt to keep customer files complete, up-to date, and accurate in accordance with reasonable commercial standards. We will tell you how and where to conveniently access your account information (except when prohibited by law) and how to notify us about errors. We will quickly respond to any request that we correct inaccurate information. We will take prompt action to make the appropriate corrections and to notify anyone with whom we may have shared inaccurate information.  We maintain and enforce security measures that guard access to and disclosure of information about our customers. We use specific internal controls to identify and authenticate all our online customers, online activity and to detect and prevent unauthorized access to customer information.

Certified Mortgage Planners limits employee access to personally identifiable information to those employees with a business reason for knowing the information.  We educate our employees so they understand the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.  Certified Mortgage Planners will take strong and decisive appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce our privacy responsibilities.

All of our operations and loan data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security standards.

If your account is closed (i.e. application withdrawn or denied) we will continue to follow the privacy policies described in this notice. At any time, you may ask us to modify any information you have earlier provided.  You may also direct us not to share your personal information with any of our business partners and or cease contacting you through telephone, postal or electronic mail.  We reserve the right and may from time to time review and alter our online privacy in order to enhance the protection of your information.  We encourage you to periodically visit our privacy page.
